At 7:45 a.m. a blown fuse interrupted power to 4145 members served by Bethalto and Holiday Shores substations in Madison County. Southwestern crews are working make repairs.

The issue has caused voltage issues on two phases. If a member is experiencing dimming lights, they should turn off their main breakers, call Southwestern Electric Cooperative to report the issue, and request a call back when repairs are complete before turning breakers back on.
