More than 700 members lost power this afternoon when an Ameren transmission line fault interrupted power to Southwestern Electric’s Reno Substation. The outage, which began shortly after 4 p.m., is affecting members in Bond, Montgomery and Madison Counties, and extends from the Bond-Montgomery County line south to Greenville, and from New Douglas east to Woburn Road. 

Ameren crews are on site and making repairs. As of 5 p.m., no estimated time of restoration was available.
