About 1,100 Southwestern Electric members lost service today when a fault in an Ameren transmission line interrupted power to the cooperative’s Pocahontas Substation. Southwestern crews and Ameren personnel are patrolling lines in Bond and Madison counties, working to identify and isolate the source of the fault.
The outage is affecting members from the Old Ripley area south to the Bond-Clinton County line, and from Grantfork east to Olde Cabin Road.
