Southwestern Electric crews are working with Ameren personnel to resolve a mechanical issue that interrupted power to the co-op’s Hookdale Substation, northwest of Keyesport, earlier this evening. Crews on site have reported damaged fuses in an Ameren substation that provides power to Southwestern’s Hookdale Sub.

They expect to restore power shortly.

About 600 members served by Hookdale Substation lost power shortly before 5:30 p.m. The outage is affecting members south of Greenville to the Bond-Clinton County line, from Mulberry Grove Road west to Millersburg Road. Crews have been dispatched to investigate the outage.
