About 3,600 Southwestern Electric members in Madison County lost power shortly after 3 a.m. The outage is affecting members served by Southwestern Electric’s Edwardsville, Fruit Road and St. Jacob substations. Southwestern operations and engineering crews are working with Ameren personnel to determine the source of the outage.
