A storm that moved across Southern Illinois this morning has left close to 1,650 Fayette County members without power. Crews have been dispatched to survey lines and make repairs. Members in Madison and Shelby counties were also affected by the storm.

Members are cautioned to avoid all downed and low-hanging power lines. The lines may be energized, or become energized without warning.
