    Southwestern Electric crews have restored power to all members in the co-op’s service area. Linemen restored the final outage at 5:45 p.m. The repairs marked the end of a challenging week for co-op members and personnel.
  • Southwestern Expects To Complete Restoration Effort Today Friday, July 15, 2016
    Southwestern linemen, operations and engineering personnel, and forestry and contract crews worked throughout the night, restoring power to 200 members in four counties. As of 8 a.m. Friday, 80 members remained without service. The cooperative expects to complete repairs today.

Joe Richardson, the co-op’s communications coordinator, said operations personnel expect to complete repairs sometime Friday.

    Southwestern Electric Cooperative continues to make progress in repair and restoration efforts following yesterday’s storm. At 6:30 p.m., 425 Southwestern members were without power—down from 4,700 Wednesday afternoon.
